Equipment, Materials and Skills Needed!

If you can donate any of these items, please email TravisCountryGarden@gmail.com. Prior approval is required.  No broken equipment or tools, please, and do not leave anything at the Garden without receiving prior permission first.  Thank you!

**Skills Needed**

  • volunteer carpenters to help with construction and maintenance of raised bed borders, picnic tables and work benches
  • someone who is good at repairing and maintaining garden pipes and plumbing
  • someone who knows WordPress

**Tools and Materials Needed**

  • Large (55 gallon) lawn & leaf black plastic trash bags
  • Paper yard waste bags
  • Red wagons, metal wheel barrows, metal carts with fold-down sides
  • New or gently used high-quality hoses and spray-heads
  • Solar path lighting and solar light strings or solar lanterns (white preferred)
  • Wood potting/work table
  • A large shed or greenhouse
  • Well-adapted, cold-hardy fig, persimmon, citrus or pear trees from a reputable local nursery such as the Natural Gardener.
  • Garden tools: operational clippers, loppers, rakes, hoes, shovels, grubhoes, etc.
  • Untreated cedar 2×6 or 2×8 lumber

Please do not drop off: wire, mesh, old hoses, tomato cages, yard waste, leaves, grass clippings, pots, cinderblocks, fertilizer or other bagged amendments, or weed cloth.
